Alicia Malone

The year 2015 saw Alicia go through the hiring procedure for FilmStruck the TCM streaming service. Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions were recorded by Malone for the purpose of practicing speaking them out loud in front of the camera before her TCM broadcast hosting audition. After appearing in an interview in the race for the Turner Classic Movies host position in 2017, TCM gave her the job in the January following the audition. Her TEDx presentation on the challenges that women have to have to face in Hollywood was the second talk she delivered.
